Development of Optimization Based Control Strategy for P2 Hybrid Electric Vehicle including Transient Characteristics of Engine

Models based on steady-state maps estimate fuel consumption to be 2–8% lower than real experimental measured values. This is due the fact that during transient phases, engine consumes more in steady phases. Some literature has addressed conventional vehicle model improves estimation’s accuracy state. However, characteristics of scope hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) with an integrated control strategy yet covered. The controller designed minimize operation phase enhance energy savings. In this paper, correlation between enrichment and estimation established as correction factor (TCF). Its explanatory variable was torque change rate. paper describes influence a mild HEV. work attempts improve economy HEV by introducing penalty optimize use regimes. A backward developed for production powertrain validated experimentally using data available online. corresponding integrating motor battery components model.
